Last year saw the club's 85th Anniversary, with members providing support, expertise and friendship to those whom we can best help. As part of a century-old international fellowship organisation with 1.2 million members, we provide help in this country and overseas, from a strong base of community service to the people of Poole.

Charity events in this Rotary year will include raising funds to eradicate Polio worldwide, Poole Hospital Scanner Appeal, a Carol Concert at Poole Lighthouse for Poole Parcels Fund and the Salvation Army, a sponsored Harbourside Walk and street collections. We are very pleased to have been able to help the Youth Cancer Trust, Harbour Challenge, Young Carers, Turlin Moor Action Group, Land-mine Awareness,Wheelchair Trust and several other charities. oo0oo

We have had excellent speakers at our weekly meetings, on a very wide range of topics - please see our programme for forthcoming speakers. oo0oo

The Club is privileged to be situated in a vibrant town with one of the world’s greatest natural harbours, surrounded by beautiful and varied countryside. We are also proud of the town’s 750 year heritage.

Visiting Rotarians are sure of a warm welcome. Our usual meeting time is at 12.30pm, on Tuesdays, at Amity Hall, Market Close but please check our meeting times for variations.
