Charity Christmas Carol Concert

(in aid of the Poole Christmas Parcels Fund)

The 50th annual Carol Concert, organised by the Poole Salvation Army with assistance from The Rotary Club of Poole, was a great success.The event’s results have just been announced.

Poole Lighthouse was almost full and the concert was subsequently broadcast by Hope FM on Christmas Eve.

With a superb bucket collection of £1573 taken at the end of the concert, and after taking into account the money raised from ticket sales, the two Charities:- Poole Christmas Parcels Fund, (which has been supported since the concerts were started) and Wessex Heartbeat will both receive just over £2500, a truly magnificent sum in these difficult times.

Poole Rotary would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work, and the supporters and audience for their generosity.
