The Pate and Cheese Lunch party at Bloxworth was enjoyed by all who attended and generously supported the Wheelchair Foundation UK appeal. The wine and food was donated and having rounded it up I will be able to send £600 off.

As you know for every £37.50 the club produces, Rotary in America adds £37.50 which then purchases a chair. This therefore means another 16 chairs can go off.

Thank you Peter and Jean MacDonald-Smith for so kindly lending us your lovely barn to make the event possible. Thank you Jean, Wendy and the other Pate girls – Carol Nicklin, Jo Vigar (unable to attend but still makes pates), Liz Agnew, Andrea Lees, Joy Kingston, Elizabeth Hall, Elizabeth Webster – for all your effort. A truly happy Poole Rotary lunch.

Since the above function we have raised further funds which means that, after taking into account the favourable US$/£ rate, in excess of 20 more chairs can be purchased.
